This certificate gives an overview of issues related to Life Transitions specifically for the client affected by CD.
ICD subscribers who hold this certificate are aware of how CD issues can affect a client's ability to manage life transitions. They have strategies to help clients manage their life transitions, including appropriate resources and support.  
An ICD subscriber who has earned the Level I Certificate of Study in Life Transitions and the Client Affected by CD has completed 6 hours of education in this area in addition to 6 hours of general education in Chronic Disorganization.

The requirements of this certificate are

  • Be a current ICD subscriber
  • Have earned and submitted the Foundation Certificate in Chronic Disorganization
  • Attend the required class
  • Attend five specialized classes that earn LT credit, such as: ( Found in the ICD Vault)
    • End of Life Issues and the Clutter Bound Client
    • Mid-Life and Later Life Changes: Essential Organizing Strategies
    • CD & Young Adults: How to Help Them
    • Change and the Client affected by CD
    • ADHD and Motherhood
  • Complete a Certificate of Study Application  online

Please note

  • Class credits are good for three (3) years as information in these fields can become outdated.
  • Classes can be applied to a maximum of two (2) different certificates. However, the same class cannot be applied to both the Level I Certificate of Study, and the Level II Specialist Certificate within the same subject area.
