ICD Ambassador Program
Objective
- To promote current events and relationship building.
What ICD Ambassadors do
- Regional Ambassadors will be kept informed of new subscribers in their region, and will reach out to offer welcome
- Professional Association Chapter Ambassadors (e.g. NAPO, POC, NBPO, etc.) will seek opportunities to
- Promote upcoming ICD Events
- Encourage and inspire non-ICD Subscribers to become ICD Subscribers
- Encourage and inspire current ICD Subscribers to continue on their educational & leadership development journey
- Keep the ICD Ambassador Coordinator informed of relevant activity and developments
Qualifications
There are three qualification options available to becoming an ICD Ambassador.
OPTION #1
- ICD Subscriber for at least 1 year, along with:
- Attending 25% of the ICD Classes offered in 1 calendar year
- Attended at least 1 Official ICD Event (e.g., conference)
- Has passed at least the CD Exam
OPTION #2
- CPO-CD® Graduate or currently enrolled in the CPO-CD® Program
OPTION #3
- Provide a letter of recommendation from a current board member or a fellow chapter ICD subscriber in good standing
ICD Ambassador Policies
- ICD Ambassador Assignment = 1 year, with the possibility of renewing
- ICD Ambassadors must give 2-months notice of resignation
- ICD Chapter Ambassadors to find their own replacement (if possible)
