Certificate as a Virtual Organizing Professional (CVOP) Training Program

CVOP in ICD®

To “Bridge the Gap” between the experienced Professional Organizer and people anywhere in the world, to partner on their decluttering and organizing goals, while establishing best practices to ensure professional ethics and industry integrity.

The ICD® Board of Directors is pleased to announce the development of the Certificate as a Virtual Organizing Professional (CVOP) in ICD ® Training Program. We look forward to empowering CVOP graduates to support individuals affected by chronic disorganization and the professionals who serve them.

When:  We will schedule classes quarterly, and dates will be posted as they become available.

Where: All classes are conducted on Zoom, with supplemental material available in the ICD Vault.

Who will teach these classes? Our instructors are experienced ICD Master Trainers who are graduates of the CVOP program and actively practicing Virtual Organizing in their own businesses.

Summer 2026: Tuesdays, July 7 through August 25, 10 am to 11:30 am Eastern. Facilitator: Alison Lush, CVOP, CPO-CD®, CPO®, ICD Master Trainer

Cost: ICD Subscribers $597 (a savings of $400)

        Non-subscribers $997, which will include the cost of the class and a one-year Premium Plus Subscribership to ICD ($400 value)

For acceptance into the program, the candidate must:
  • Be a professional organizer or a related professional
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an in-field professional
  • Sign the CVOP in ICD® Student Program Confidentiality Agreement

Registration is limited to 6 participants.

Program Structure

Participants will be required to submit appropriate support materials. If you do not meet the Entrance Requirements, you may request an interview to determine if you could be granted a waiver.
