Foundation Certificate

All of your ICD® education builds on this certificate. It is required for a subscriber to be eligible to be listed on the Find a Professional Directory for the public. Subscribers must complete the Foundation Certificate in Chronic Disorganization in order to earn additional Level I Certificates of Study or to advance to the Level II Chronic Disorganization Specialist Certificate.
The classes completed for this certificate include information about conditions that may lead to a presentation of Chronic Disorganization. Subscribers who complete this certificate know strategies, techniques and resources to help clients address their organizational and productivity challenges.
A subscriber who holds the Level I Foundation Certificate in Chronic Disorganization has a basic understanding of Chronic Disorganization and has considered ethical, boundary and safety issues. They have been introduced to five of our areas of study in CD: ADHD, Hoarding Behavior, Aging Issues, and Time Management and Productivity.
An ICD subscriber who has earned the Level I Foundation Certificate in Chronic Disorganization has completed 6 hours of general education in Chronic Disorganization.
This certificate is included in the Premium Plus Foundation Certificate Level subscription to ICD. Please contact us if you did not join at this level and want to earn the certificate.

The requirements of this certificate are

  • Be a current ICD Premium, or Premium+ subscriber.
  • Access and complete the six required classes in the ICD® Vault in the Level I Foundation Certificate of Study in Chronic Disorganization package. To access the package, you must navigate to ICD’s Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Once you complete the required classes, your Foundation Certificate of Study will be available in your transcript on the LMS and noted in your profile on the ICD website.
