Subscribers who hold this certificate understand the definition of hoarding disorder, the characteristics of clients with hoarding behavior, and the likelihood of co-morbid conditions. They can identify resources available to help in hoarding situations, are keenly aware of safety issues, and can identify their own limits in working with clients displaying hoarding behavior.

An ICD subscriber who has earned the Level I Certificate of Study in Understanding Hoarding Behavior has completed 6 hours of education in this area in addition to 6 hours of general education in Chronic Disorganization.

The requirements of this certificate are

• Be a current ICD® Premium subscriber.
• Have earned the Foundation Certificate in Chronic Disorganization.
Enroll in the Level I Certificate of Study in Hoarding Behavior Curriculum and pay the fee.
• Access and complete the six required classes in the ICD® Vault.

Upon completion of the classes, your certificate will be automatically available in your transcript in the ICD® Vault.
